  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect data from the Site
  • Submit false information or misrepresent your identity
  • Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful software of any kind

5. Free Estimates and Proposals

Free estimates requested through this Site are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding contract or commitment to perform work. All estimates are based on information available at the time of inspection. Actual project scope and pricing may change if site conditions, hidden damage, code requirements, or other unforeseen factors are discovered once work begins. We reserve the right to revise or withdraw any estimate prior to execution of a written service agreement.

6. Service Agreements

All work performed by American Quality Roofing and Siding is governed by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties. No verbal agreement, email, or online form submission constitutes a binding contract for services. We reserve the right to decline or cancel services when false, incomplete, or misleading information has been provided by the client.

7. Scope of Work and Change Orders

All work will be performed as described in the written service agreement. Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be requested and authorized in writing by both parties before additional work begins. Verbal approvals for changes are not binding. Change orders may result in additional costs and extended project timelines.

8. Permits and Code Compliance

American Quality Roofing and Siding will obtain required permits for work as specified in the service agreement. Work is performed in accordance with applicable Connecticut building codes and manufacturer installation requirements. If code compliance requirements discovered during the project require additional work beyond the original scope, the client will be notified and a written change order will be issued prior to proceeding.

9. Site Access and Property Conditions

The client is responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to the work site, including driveway access for trucks and equipment and direct access to the roof or work area. The client warrants that all structures are in sound condition capable of supporting normal roofing and construction activity. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing structural deficiencies or concealed conditions that were not disclosed prior to the start of work.

10. Interior and Exterior Property

Roofing, siding, and exterior work involves demolition of materials and may cause minor vibrations or disturbances. American Quality Roofing and Siding is not responsible for interior drywall cracks, nail pops, or damage to items inside the home, including items in attics. Clients are advised to remove or cover fragile items, wall hangings, light fixtures, and attic contents prior to the start of any project. We are also not responsible for incidental damage to landscaping, outdoor furniture, sprinkler systems, or driveways during the course of work. Upon project completion, the property will be swept with a magnetic roller and all project-related debris will be removed.

11. Concealed and Differing Site Conditions

If conditions are discovered during work that were not visible or known at the time of the estimate, including but not limited to rot, water damage, deteriorated decking, hidden utilities, or structural issues, we will stop work and notify the client. These conditions may require additional work and cost beyond the original agreement. The client will receive a written change order before any additional work proceeds. American Quality Roofing and Siding is not responsible for costs or delays resulting from concealed conditions that were not disclosed prior to project commencement.

12. Utilities and Hazardous Conditions

The client is responsible for disclosing the location of any cables, conduits, gas lines, electrical wiring, fiber optic lines, or other utilities within or attached to the roof assembly or structure prior to the start of work. American Quality Roofing and Siding is not liable for damage to undisclosed or concealed utility lines. If any roof-mounted equipment emits or receives radio frequency waves, the client agrees to shut it down while work is in progress.

13. Weather and Delays

All work is scheduled based on favorable weather conditions. American Quality Roofing and Siding is not responsible for delays caused by rain, snow, ice, high winds, or other weather events beyond our control. Weather-related delays do not constitute abandonment of the project. Project timelines will be adjusted accordingly, and we will communicate schedule updates to the client as promptly as possible.

14. Material Availability and Price Volatility

This Site and any estimates provided through it are based on material pricing at the time of issuance. Roofing and building materials are subject to market fluctuations and supply chain conditions beyond our control. If material costs increase significantly between the time an estimate is provided and the time work is scheduled, the client will be notified in writing before work begins. In the event that specified materials become unavailable, we may substitute materials of equal or greater performance and value with written notice to the client.

15. Warranties

Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to the client as provided by the respective manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions. Workmanship warranties, where applicable, are outlined in the written service agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of God, improper maintenance, third-party modifications, or conditions unrelated to our work.

16. Insurance and Licensing

American Quality Roofing and Siding carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request. We are licensed as a home improvement contractor in the State of Connecticut (CT HIC #0633301).
